Our Mission

Wildflower Hormones is leading the charge to revolutionize healthcare for women. We have a goal to be the most integrative, knowledgeable, and comprehensive hormone clinic in Northern Colorado. We are excited to show you how women’s health SHOULD be done!

Hi, I’m Abbey Seufer

I’m a Board Certified Physician Assistant with over 20 years experience in treating women’s complex health concerns.

I focus on the foundational pillars of health to restore hormonal and metabolic balance in women. My approach integrates conventional hormone replacement practices with functional nutrition and gut health, as well as identifying and correcting inflammatory and metabolic disruptions unique to each woman.

In addition to having worked for 20 years in OBGYN, I have extensive training in root-cause medicine, functional lab testing, and functional nutrition. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Colorado State University, and a Master’s degree and Physician Assistant degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine in North Chicago, IL. I have completed multiple comprehensive training programs through both The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy (INFA). I hold an active PA license in the state of Colorado.

In my free time, I love spending time in the mountains hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. My husband and I are active raising 3 busy boys and maintaining our small hobby farm in Fort Collins.

My Team

Megan Anderson, APN

Megan Anderson is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, who received her BSN degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004 and her Master of Nursing degree at the University of Chicago in 2009. From 2004-2013, she worked in pediatrics, women’s gyne/oncology, family planning, prenatal care, and integrated physical medicine.

In 2013, she found her way into the world of functional medicine. After completing the ADAPT Program with the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine in 2017, she knew that she had found her calling. She has been working in functional medicine ever since and LOVES being able to offer her patients a more holistic and preventive approach to their health issues and goals. Helping people address underlying chronic issues and get back to feeling their best is what feeds her soul, and she feels grateful every day for the opportunity to help people identify ways to feel and live their best life.

Outside of work, she loves spending as much time outdoors as possible with her family and friends – running, hiking, skiing, etc. She is obsessed with all things related to human nature and healthy habit formation, and she is excited to join the team at Wildflower.

Stephanie Staples, FMCHC, NBC-HWC

My passion for health and wellness was ignited in childhood as an athlete. I began my journey in Nutrition Services at a hospital during high school and spent my senior year in a Health Occupations course, gaining invaluable experience alongside a Physician Assistant in Primary Care.

I earned a Bachelor of Medical Science and completed my Physician Assistant Degree at Saint Louis University, graduating in 1999. My career spanned Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Surgery, where I witnessed the profound impact of lifestyle choices and nutrition on health. This inspired me to further my education and transition into a new career as a Health Coach.

In 2020, I graduated from the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, in collaboration with The Institute for Functional Medicine, becoming a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach (FMCHC). I also obtained my National Board Certification through The National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC).

As your Health Coach, we will work together to establish a true client-coach partnership. You will feel empowered to achieve your desired lifestyle changes and reach the health you deserve. I provide encouragement, accountability, support, and resources every step of the way, with mindfulness, hope, and compassion as the foundation for lasting change.

Tracy Strother, MS RD

I have been a registered dietitian since 2006 after attending undergraduate and graduate school at Colorado State University. For the following 17 years I worked with people with kidney failure and kidney disease.

I stumbled upon functional nutrition at just the right time as I was starting to struggle with my own adrenal dysfunction, gut imbalances and metabolic issues. The functional approach deeply resonated with me I and enrolled in a 14 month functional nutrition practitioner training program.

For the past 6 years I have been in private practice incorporating a holistic and functional approach along with my clinical experience to help people with hormone imbalances, gut issues, metabolic dysregulation and longevity.

Leah Novak, RN, BSN, CPT, NTM

Leah Novak is a Nutrition Therapy Master (NTM), Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). With over 20 years working in the healthcare and fitness industries, Leah specializes in supporting her patients through tailored nutrition and exercise/lifestyle recommendations with the goal of experiencing more vitality, wellness, balance, and energy.

Leah’s career started in the Intensive Care Unit, Chemical Addiction/Rehab, and Perioperative Services at various hospitals throughout Colorado and in Minnesota. In 2015, her own health issues left her frustrated with conventional medicine options, and ultimately led her to a more holistic, root-cause medical approach. After achieving better health than she could have imagined, she felt inspired to seek a career change to nutrition therapy — a specialty that better aligned with her values. She attended the Nutritional Therapy Institute of Denver for just under 3 years to become a Nutrition Therapist and enjoys ongoing training through The Functional Forum, The Institute for Functional Medicine, and others. She is also an avid podcast listener (her favorites include The Drive with Peter Attia, The Doctors Farmacy with Mark Hyman, and Everyday Wellness with Cynthia Thurlow); she truly considers herself a life-long learner.

Using her combined knowledge of nutrition, personal training, nursing, and in-depth knowledge of treatment plans established by medical providers, Leah loves helping her patients create personalized, sustainable, lifestyle-based approaches to overall healthy living.

Leah’s experience is wide-ranging and targets gut health, hormonal health, mental health, cardiometabolic conditions, autoimmunity, and more.

Outside of work, Leah is a wife, a mother of two, a group fitness instructor, and spends as much time as she can outside. If she’s not reading about nutrition or listening to medicine- and nutrition-based podcasts, you will find her playing outside in beautiful Colorado, watching sports with her husband, running her kids to their various activities, cooking, walking her dogs, or catching up with friends.

It’s time for a revolution in women’s health!
